BARBICAN – MICHAEL CLARK EXHIBITION
In October 2020, the Barbican launched an exhibition exploring the life and work of British dancer-choreographer wild child Michael Clark.
Kemp London was enlisted to add some neon typography to one of the set pieces,
helping to bring an added pop of light and colour.
Working closely to the brief, we produced this curved wording in lemon yellow neon, spelling out the artist’s name.
It was mounted, in sharp contrast, on a monochrome photographic print.
You can see the exhibition Michael Clark: Cosmic Dancer for yourself at the Barbican in London, until Sunday 3 rd January 2021.
This isn’t the first time Kemp London has been involved with The Barbican: see the
aluminium cast lettering we manufactured for the building’s exterior.
