Bond 25
Slick, good-looking and a bona fide British institution: we already had plenty in common with Agent 007. Now we have even more. Kemp London is creatively involved with Bond 25, the as yet untitled 25th James Bond film. Yep – some of the film’s props will be from Kemp with love.
Produced by Eon Productions for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the movie is based on Ian Fleming’s maverick MI6 character. Daniel Craig dons the tailored tuxedo for his fifth turn as the eponymous spy.
Kemp London is proud to contribute to the aesthetic of the latest blockbuster in the making. The multi award-winning film franchise does epic backdrops like no other, from the monastery atop the sweeping Meteora mountains in For Your Eyes Only to the eerily beautiful underground Basilica Cistern used in From Russia With Love). Its sensational fight scenes, like the sky-high scramble across a crane in Casino Royale, are big-screen gold. Then there are the vehicles – most famously Bond’s grey Aston Martin DB5 which was first seen in 1964’s Goldfinger.
This isn’t Kemp’s first foray into film. We recently worked on Kingsman: The Golden Circle, helping to bring the 50s-style Poppy’s World to life with custom-built signage, props and neon. In 2017, we produced a giant poker chip backdrop embellished with neon lettering for the premiere of Molly’s Game.
Kemp London is thrilled to be entering the immortal canon of James Bond. Just like diamonds, Bond’s legacy is forever.
Bond 25 is scheduled for UK release on 3rd April 2020.
