NJ Live/ Final Fantasy VII
15.04.2022
To celebrate Square Enix’s remake of the classic Final Fantasy VII video game, NJ live recreated its in-game bar, Seventh Heaven, in Shoreditch venue Kachette. To complete the look, Kemp London was commissioned to produce three neon signs. These were: the Final Fantasy VII Remake logo in white; the phrase ‘Welcome to Loveless St’ spelled out in red neon lettering and framed in green; the words ‘Egg & Chips’ in yellow and red neon, framed in blue.
All three were backed onto clear acrylic, and the latter two were displayed on the wall behind the bar, going on to be featured in the Guardian’s editorial interview with the games creators.
The first instalment of Final Fantasy VII Remake was released in April 2020.
This isn’t the first time we’ve been involved in a high-profile gaming launch. We recently provided bespoke neon for the Stormzy & Watch Dog: Legion interview, available to watch on the BBC’s website.
